Question about 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Open Question

1993 Jeep Cherokee headlights go off and on after being on for a while

The headlights will just go off, then turn back on, then go off again. I've replace the headlight switch, headlights, fuses are good. I can't seem to find any sort of headlight relay, does anyone know if they put one on the 93's?

I retract my entire solution, having not read correctly your situation. You may simply have lost a body ground wire.????

SOURCE: Jeep Headlights not working. High beam works

had the same problem on my 92....check under the hood on the drivers side, towards the front, there is a "junction box" with all of the lighting wires connecting from the switches to the lights. My wires were all corroded inside,so I cleaned the ends and bought a new box from the local electronic supply store. The problem has not come back.

It sounds like a a bad relay. See if there is a separate relay for the taillight/stoplights and swap it with another relay to see if there is any change.

1993 jeep grand cherokee limited no running lights/tail lights.

Id look at the headlight switch and do some voltage tests to see whats coming out of there. Pay close attention to any wires which look like someone was in there already.People can mess stuff up faster and better than the vehicle can by itself!
