If it`s gas and not diesel, it will be next to the fuel tank or inside the fuel tank

I don't think my 92 isuzu pick up has power steering..so can I install 1..i see the pumps online just want 2 know if it can b done

You will need the pump, hoses, and steering gear, and the easiest way to get the proper equipment is in a junkyard off of another 88-96 Isuzu Pickup (I think that's the last year of the model in the U.S.) because then you can get the brackets that your truck is probably missing and not need to fabricate anything. It is possible, but it will probably be more work than it seems. Check the link for a description of some of the issues with doing the same swap on 1st gen Isuzu Pickups (81-87 P'ups). 82 pup adding power steering IsuzuPup com

Lost power to engine

Check make sure all plugs are firing. Sounds like what my 93 Rodeo was doing-Idled okay but very rough when in gear. Turns out only 5 out of 6 plugs were firing due to a defective ignition module- 100 bucks later it works fine.

Hope this helps.
