What is the fuse number for the trunk release on a 1999 porsche carrera

I don't know what kind of 1999 carerra you are talking about; I have a 1999 carrera convertible, and both the front and engine hoods are opened when pulling on the appropriate lever next to the drivers seat. No fuse/solenoid involved.

Hello, i have a carerra 911. i disconnected the battery as i will be out for a while, but i accidentally shut the hood all the way. usually i keep it slightly open so i can open it since it is electrical....

Hell there
Porsche made for this reason Emergency release cable.

The emergency release cable is located inside the top of the passenger front wheel well liner.
Remove the liner then the cable is near the head light ,

.this should do it for you

I need to replace the door lock on the drivers side of my 1999 Carerra 911. How do I get to the lock? Through the door on the inside? I don't see screws or the fasteners to loosen to remove the door...

most newer vehicles like this have clips inside door panel that u need a special pry tool to pop door panel off. the door panel just pushes on, also there is small cover over screws that u pry off to expose the screws. there should be 1 or 2 screws that u take out behind inside door handle. and there maybe some on very bottom of door.. when go to take panel off make sure you disconnect car battery just in case as not to set off air bag if it has one. its really quite simple just make sure when taking off door panel to use the right tools and be gentle. you can can buy the pry tool at any auto parts store. hope this helps
