Question about 2003 Subaru Outback

Open Question

Location of illumination control module 2003 Subaru Outback

On previous models it seems to be on the backside of the lower dash 'kick panel'/'knee panel' below the steering wheel. But some other Subaru models have it elsewhere.

Where is the central door locking module situated in a 1997 Subaru liberty wagon (australian Model)

Don't know about aussie models, but in the USA, it is a big black module that is on the fuse panel under the dash. Most are on the backside of the fuse panel.

I have a 2007 Subaru Forester. Does it have a illumination control unit or a illumination control switch? Also location?

The subaru's that I have, the dash light dimmer is on the dash panel on the left side near the bottom where your road light swith and you cruise switch are. It should be a wheel like knob that rotates up and down. I hope this is useful to you. Good Luck.

Driver's side panel won't illuminate

most of the switches and instument panels in my 02 outback have tiny miniture lite bulbs incorporated into every switch including the driver side door window control if you remove the switch panel and turn it upside down youll notice very small round caps with a cross cut in each cap . use a small fat head tip screwdriver to turn the cap ,there you will find the bulb which will be black and burnt out.

Where is the electronic flasher location in a 2000 subaru outback

Subaru really doesn't call it a flasher or relay. They call it a hazard and turn signal module. I do not have a picture of it but below is a picture with an arrow as to where it is located and the picture below that on is what the plug or connector looks like and I can tell you that I'm about 95% sure it is a black plug/connector. I hope I was able to help....

Loses tranny fluid with no sign of leak. Does my 2000 subaru outback have a modulator diaphram on the vaccum system and how do I fix that? Does the vaccum line need to be replaced if this in an issue?

Your transmission is electronically controlled and should not have any lines or hoses coming off of it except for the cooler lines and the vent. I would double check to make sure your trans cooler isn't leaking into your radiator. If you can't see anything when removing the radiator cap then you might have to remove the lower radiator hose to see what the fluid looks like.
I hope this info helps!~subyguru~

How to change Lower ball joint 2001 subaru outback?

i think the best solution is to replace the lower control arm that has the joint pressed into that member. to release the ball joint from the knuckle...get a 4 lb sledge and hit the side of the cast iron knuckle which will release that beveled shaft of the ball joint out of the knuckle, dont hammer on the threaded ball joint shaft itself ...it generally takes 3 or four strikes but once lose it will fall right down
