SOURCE: Remove right rear door panel 2003 Buick LaSabre

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

SOURCE: how do i remove the rear door panel on a 2003

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls.

SOURCE: 2003 honda civic how to remove door panel

Step one Look at the inside door handle. Behind it you should see a little cover, You pop that off and there will be 2 phillips head screws behind it. remove them.

Pop out the door handle, and unplug the power lock plug,

Youll also have to take the door lock rod, by spinning the plastic door handle 90 degrees until u can wiggle it out.

next remove the sail panel( The little triangle shaped piece in the corner of the door on the top, ( may have a tweeter in it) ( it just pops out)

Next take a screwdriver (flat head) and pry off the cover of the door handle, there will be
2 phillips head screw behind it ( remove screws)

Unplug power window connector (big green plug)

Now just start gently pry the door panel off with a screw driver, see if u can peek behind the panel and see where the panel clips are, and pry near those areas

I have a 2003 Kia Sorento, my rear wiper barely moves, so I am thinking its the motor, also there is rust around the base of where the arm is on the back suv hatch door. It would not be the rust...

It's probably not the rust, but the fact that moisture is getting into the wiper mechanism. I would take off the back panel of the door, carefully remove and dismantle the wiper mechanism, clean and lubricate all the parts. Whilst you're doing this you will see where the fault is!

How to remove door panel from a closed door

It cannot be done without the door open. Door must be open in order to access panel. Make sure you have the special spoon tool to fry open the clips otherwise you are ripping and damaging the paneling unless, you replace it. Good luck.

I have a 2003 kia sorento ex. when i turn light switch on, nothing happens. I have no tail lights or fog etc. only front running lights. All new bulbs and fuses are fine. Brake lights work.

Hi,

I drive a kia sorento and i have had a similar problem. I have a hitch on the back and the electrical connection was bad and kept blowing fuses. I removed the electrical hookup. Easy to do as it is a plug conected to the harness of your vehicle. Located underneath your vehicle just above the rear wheel well on the passenger side. Your fuse panel is located under the hood of your vehicle next to your battery. Remove fuses one by one and check for any that are blown. I hope this helps.

Replacing driver's side mirror on Kia Sorento

These instructions are for a 2013 Kia Sorento (Passenger Side Mirror)

1) remove speaker cover on inside door panel:

2) Use a small screwdriver to pry it away from the door. Be careful of the paint:

3) The panel will expose the 3 main bolts that need to be removed:
3_18_2013_2_43_24_pm.jpg

4) The cable harness needs to be removed this is located behind the door panel. Remove the one screw behind the screw cover:

Once the one screw is removed it will allow you to move the door panel enough to get to the harness and the 2 bottom bolts.

Here is how the harness looks:

Once the harness is removed and the 3 bolts removed the mirror will come out.

Repeat the steps to re install your new mirror.
