Question about Cars & Trucks
The turn signal multi switch needs replaced, how do I remove the knee bolster panel under the steering column so I can replace the multi switch with a new one?
The knee blocker panel simply snaps out of position at the top and hinges on plastic hinges on the bottom. Raise the steering wheel up and firmly pull the top edge of the panel. It will then swing down and out of the way

My turn signal flasher was located to the right of the ash tray, I looked around the column for HOURS and it wasn't there... I also have an 93 oldsmobile cutlass ciera, it drove me crazy because the manual wasn't correct.

First do you have a sterring wheel puller. Can't remove the steering wheel without one. Quite an involved job including snaking the electrical connector end through the steering column. I wouldn't recommend it to the novice

it is in the fuse panel on the side of the dash as you open the drivers door, between the door panel and the very left side of the dash that is facing out when the door is opened, hope this helps.

the switch is underneath the steering wheel. the steering wheel needs to be pulled to replace the switch. the airbag is in the steering wheel, and a trained tech with a puller is needed to pull that wheel off without screwing up the airbag.
