There is a bulb that is burnt out. you can buy the bulb at your local parts store. you have to remove the glove box to get to the bolt to release the front of the console. then you can find the bulb

What is an ICP - RCC - Speedometer fuse for on a 1997 ford taurus dohc ICP - RCC?

Hey Brian ,
ICP - Integrated control panel
RCC - Remote Climate Control Module
Integrated Control Panel-Electronic Automatic Temperature Control
Control Assembly The Taurus, Sable vehicles group together the following systems into a single integrated control panel:
  • AM/FM stereo radio
  • clock
  • rear window defroster switch
  • electronic automatic temperature control (EATC)
  • full-logic cassette tape player
  • compact disc player control (optional)
The remote climate control module is mounted to the A/C evaporator housing behind the integrated control panel. The integrated control panel is connected to the remote climate control module with a dedicated two-wire communication link. The integrated control panel EATC features:
  • a vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) for displaying set temperature, ambient temperature, function and diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
  • electro-luminescent backlighting for all buttons and graphics.
  • function override buttons.
  • temperature control and blower speed rocker switches.

When the headlights are turned on, the clock/radio display cannot be seen. Would this be a fuse that needs to be replaced or a burned-out bulb, and, if it is a burned-out bulb, how do you go about...

I think the problem is in your dimmer switch. It controls the dash backlights as well as the display on the radio. Is this a factory radio and are you dash backlights bright?

2005 Buick Lesabre. left side radio buttons backlight, steering wheel buttons backlight, and temp panel button backlighting are all out, but good on the right hand side and two other right side buttons on...

These are actually the bulbs that have went bad. It would be quite expensive. I have a 2004 that has done the same thing. No lights behind any buttons any more except the ac heater controls I replaced last year.

I HAVE A 2005 SENTRA NISSAN BUT NO MANUAL. I NEED TO KNOW WHERE IS THE REAR DEFOGGER LOCATED TO TURN ON

I couldn't find info on the '05, but did find it for the '06. I'm hoping they are the same, so here is the info:
There is a control panel that has the following controls, starting at the left, there is a round dial for temperature control, next (to the right of that dial) is the round fan speed dial, next to that (to the right) are a row of 3 (if you have air cond, if not there may be blank covers over the bottom one or two) rectangular push buttons, arranged from top to bottom, the top is the rear window defroster, under that are 2 more rectangular buttons for air conditioning (if equipped), and to the right of those is another round dial to select air flow (foot level, windshield defrost, etc.) Hope this helps.

2003 Kia Optima - Dashboard Lights not working.

if you have aftermarket lights hooked up to the dash light it has been known to smoke the rheostat that controls the dimmer. I would also check the other fuses, sometimes the cluster refers to the guages themselves and not the lights that illuminate them

Display on climate control screen is out and i don't see any type of description on fuse panel that fits this problem. AC, heater, fan, everything else works but the display.

U must remove the climate control unit from the dash and remove the top cover of the unit, u will find a tiny twist in light bulb socket with a tiny little light bulb, this provides the backlight for the AC/heater display, u can buy the bulb at any auto parts store, couple of bucks.
