Question about Audi A6
My Audi A6 is flashing alarm on the radio My radio volume is turning up and down by itself and my radio display keeps flashing Alarm. Also, I have had trouble starting the car just before this started. Any suggestions? Thanks
Sorry no idea as havent encountered this before but best advice i can offer here is the dealer as in common with a lot of vehicles made over the last 5 yrs or so they have got too involved with the electronics and they go wrong and weird things like this happen so dont be surprissed to get a bill for a new computer and whatever and expect a bill of well over 1000 euros

What was the problem you had starting the car? did it crank or was the car died? do you have to jump start it

sounds like a faulty oil level sensor i,v replaced them in the past you need to get it checked first because the sensors aren,t cheap

This is the electronic emmobiliser symbol. The key has a little chip in it that is encoded when starting to verify that it is authentic.See an Audi dealer to have it recoded or order a new one from Germany. Not cheap i'm afraid.

you could try disconnecting the battery for a couple of miutes and then reconnect as audi reset themselves BUT MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A RADIO CODE AS THIS WILL BE WIPED OUT
ALSO YOU ILL HAVE TO RESET THE WINDOWS

should be in your owners manual if you have one. or there should be an options menu through the switch in the instrumnet cluster or through the I-drive if you have one

Check for broken wires in the round rubber boot between the drivers door and the body (in between the door hinges). Same happened to a friend of mine. Repair the wires and all is well. He got his drivers door speaker back in the process.
