Question about 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix
Just charged the battery,it was completley dead
If its the original Delco battery from GM, it may be from the lot of batteries that had defects in one of the cells. GM was reimbursing consumers who bought autos with the defective batteries but im not sure if they still are. if its an after market or replacement battery, check if the battery acid level is full and top off with distilled water if its low. however, the cell may be dead if the fluid level has been low for a while and you will need to replace the battery. also, a battery that isnt secured well will cause problems too. if all is good with the battery, its probably a problem with your charging system. ie. alternator, relay, etc. that can be checked by a repair shop.
