Question about 2002 Dodge Dakota Club Cab

Dodge ram 1500 tail lights don't work

Headlight work, but the tailghts dont. The bulbs are good and I check both fuses and relay. I was wondering about a grounding problem but the brake light work. Are they on the same ground? If so, what could the problem be?

Dodge ram 1500- when car is in park, the "park lights" dont work.

The parking lights would not normally come on unless you turn them on with the headlight switch. The daytime running lights would come on in drive and go off in park.
If you can't turn the parking lights on with the headlight switch, you would check the fuse, the relay if equipped, and the headlight switch.

Make sure that the fuse for the tail lights is not blown out. There may be a separate fuse for both the headlights and tail lights for your car.
