Question about Yugo Hatchback

Vauxhall astra x reg 1.6 8v gear box there is like a reversing sound coming from the gear box can u tell me wat it likely could be,my mechanic said it could be the differential?????

I would agree with that totally, however i have had it turn out to be the synch. does it do it in every gear and has your local mechanic checked the gear box oil? if it does it in every gear and the oil is fine go find yourself a hill, and roll down it both out of gear and clutch pressed down. if the sound is still there,i would say its your diff

either your blower motor has failed or your resistor the resistor is usually mounted on the blower motor on the front passenger side under dash

I have a Y reg 1600 vauxhall astra estate with the cigarette lighter fuse blown. I have found the fuse box but do not know which fuse requires changing. Does anyone knw which one it is ?. Ignore the car...


Pull each fuser out if the fuse box lid doesn't show a cig on the fuse lid and see if it's blown. Replace the blown fuse. If all the fuses look good trace the lighter back to the inline fuser and replace.

Reverse lights on my vauxhal corsa v reg are not working


It`s the reverse light switch under the bonnet had to replace it on my 16v t reg corsa costs about 8-£10 and comes off easily because it`s just a bolt with electricals leading to the back lighting. This happens on every Corsa. Let me guess Your Heater control lights and fan swich lights have gone too on the interior. Any problem corsa related, been there done it.

if ur car doesnt have abs brakes the sensor should be on the topside of the gear of the differential, right on your gearbox, it has 2 cables and it looks like this
