Question about 1997 Honda Accord
The sun visors on my 97 accord keep dropping down and I can't seem to be able to get to the part I need to tighten the tension in the visor so it will stay up

I looked at a wiring diagram, traced it back and found a disconnected wire. After I reconnected the wire, the vanity lights started working.

SOURCE: I have a 2003 Accord.
I assume you have tried everything to retract it, wiggle while you push ect.? if so yes the visor will have to be replaced, they (Honda) does not make parts for them.

has the visor got a slider for the mirror,if so, close it when not in use if not change it for a solid tinted plexiglass visor(no mirror) sorry but females will need to use central mirror for makeup..i am not a sexist by the way .........
