SOURCE: radiator fans won't come on

Hey I had the same problem with my 95 olds cutlass supreme. First i checked that the fans were receiving power by testing the voltage. Then I noticed that they were recieving voltage just not coming on. When the engine temp got pretty high, they finally came on, another words the gauge could be broken or the engine just does not tell the fans to come on until it has reached a high temp. So i started the vechicle, left it in park and gave it gas until the temp guage read very high, it reached like 230 to 250 then the fans came on. Try getting the temp up there and then see if the fans come on an dlet me know at keaka18@aol.com

SOURCE: Turn signal keeps clicking until I step on the brakes

The turn signal/wiper control arm may have gone bad. Auto Zone has them cheaper then the Dealer or you can go to the Salvage yard and pick one up for around $35.00 to $50.00, just call around to see which is the best price. Some will even be as low as $10.00 if you remove it your self from a truck and there is also a 90 day warranty.
The neat thing is that you can take one apart from a Salvage yard and find out what not to break from your truck when working on it. If you feel that it is the signal relay, your going to have to drop the panel under the drivers side to get to the relay on the driver side behind the cigarette lighter.
Good luck and hope this helps.

SOURCE: The fuel pump is not turning on. Which relay is

Hi.

It is located along with other relays on the right hand side of the firewall. There you find a bracket holding the four relays for Pump, AC, Blower, and Radiator Fan. There is also a fuel pump fuse that must be checked. It is located near to the relay. See the diagram below.

What is causing the hdlpc ctrl relay in the under the hood fuse panel to continuously click. This happens even when the vehicle is off.

If you are sure you have located the correct relay, on some cars the hdlp relay is used to shut on and off the headlamps when they are not activated by the headlamp switch, such as when they are used for "auto" setting, daytime running or for convenience feature (when the headlights stay on for one minute or so, when you shut the car off). remove the relay and see if the "auto" headlight function is working (do it at night, with the car outside), If the relay is clicking, then there might be a bad connection, poor ground or the light sensor (which determines if there is daylight) is bad.

98 ford ranger 4cyl 5 speed. When u turn the key to on position I get no warning lights on dash except battery light and seatbelt light. Nothing else.truck wont start. Dont even click.

Check the batter voltage first. If not that check fuse panel under hood for a 100 amp fuse check to see if the fuse is bad or if it has power. Also check fuseable link wire at starter to see if wire is still good. If it is bad, internal short possible on starter, take out and test it. Replace fusible link.

Need fuse box diagrams for 1997 avenger

Under the cover of both the fuse box inside the car and under the hood there should be a diagram showing what each fuse or relay is for.

I found several images at Google but too often it was NOT for the 97 avenger so you could get fooled. I was not able to copy the the one for the relay box and post but you should be able to hit Ctrl +P and get it to print for you.

This one indicated it was for the fuse box. Hope this helps.

2007 Ford Expedition has a clicking noise in the interior of the car while not running or running. It is a rythmic click click, click click.

This is not good. Relays and circuit interruptors work differently than fuses. Each will interrupt a connection and can reset, over and over, rythmically. It means something is stuck in an ON position. It also means a part is heating up and a part is trying to drain your Battery. (Make sure it is not the clock ticking)

First, if you have a quiet garage try opening your Drivers door and keep it open. There are 2 relays in the Drivers door because of the
extra AUTO down relay. You will be able to crouch down between the door and the seat of your car. You should be able to hear the clicks to eliminate the door as a problem.

Open the hood and go to the Black boxes. Is the clicking louder under the Hood? If it is, open the cover over the Black boxes and feel the tops of the relays to find the active one and remove it. Now what does not work is the grounded circuit.

If the noise is still louder in the interior, look under the dash for a Fuse panel. Feel the Fuses and Relays for vibration to match the clicking. Pull out the clicking part. What does not work is the bad circuit. Still no Luck? Find your Air Suspension cutoff switch. It may be behind a panel in the rear cargo area or under a Foot kickpanel under the dash. Turn it off. See if noise stops.

Would be interested to know the outcome, Thanks

1988 honda accord turn signal

There are two fuse boxes--one under the dash by the left foot rest, and one under the hood on the left side to the rear of the battery. The former has most of the interior circuits, the latter has the headlights and other high-drain equipment. Each should have a diagram on the cover. Unfortunately, the diagrams are incomplete, or else there are fuses hidden somewhere else, too if it isnt the fuse the check the relay and if the is voltage goin to it they are cheap if you have any question contact me rate my solution
