I think that on the fuse pannel it should say which fuse goes to what. If the fuse is still good, try making sure the connections are tight. If they are replace the pump.

But you will have to remove the

Hi...I have a 1999 Jeep cherokee Sport. The windshield washer quit..dont know if it is a clogged line or a pump. Not hearing the pump when I activate. Also lines appear to be hidden.

This is most likely due to the washer pump going out. I just replaced mine on my 2000 cherokee. There is a front and back pump which is located under the drivers side fender. You will have to remove the plastic corner bumper to get access to the pumps. This is an easy job to do yourself. Dont forget to have something ready to drain the fluid into when you remove the pump from the washer tank. The front pump is located below the rear pump.

I have a 2001 jeep cherokee sport and I need to know what fuse controls the front wipers/washers. Everyone keeps telling me that it's #30, but I only have 27 fuses. I checked my owners manual, my Chilton's...

some of the jeeps had issue with the wiper motor and or washers losing ground to the motor.
try running a ground wire from battery and hooking it to the metal case of the wiper motor.

No front washer sprayer, fuse good,  2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport

Bad washer pump. Take the tank out with the motor in it and put 12v to it. It will either pump or not.

My 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee's windshield washer is not working.

Check power at the pump motors. You may not see a fuse because some run off a circuit breaker. If all else fails, a bit "backyard" but you likely could break out the washer pumps from the system and make a simple push button on the dash to operate them.

The washer pump is located on the washer bottle. Must check for power at pump when applying switch if no power (12 volts) check fuse or curcuit. If it has power replace pump. Also: if pump is operational check hoses for resteictions.

What fuse controls the windshield washer pump? on a 2001 Jeep Che

usually it's in the washer bottle which is usually in the fender well, ahrd to get to.
The fuse that controls it should be listed in your owners manual. Usually a 10 amp fuse in the fuse panel inside the car usually on the instrument panel somewhere.

You have a motor for the front and rear washer. Check the fuses. If the intermitted wipers does not work, there is a relay under the dash near the steering colum that needs to be replaced.

1999 Jeep Cherokee rear window washer

There are two separate washer pumps underneith the washer res. behind the front driver quarter panel. The exact pumps are hard to find. I have the same prob with my 99, but both are out. I had a 98 that the front worked but not rear. I had to get a "universal" washer pump. I'm still trying to find a factory replacement for this one before I do that. No luck so far.
