mmm... sounds like fuel pump is overheating, this could be because filter is dirty or pump is going bad. change the fuel filter, if that does not fix it you would only have wasted $15

Failing check valve in fuel pump should a inline be put in instead of new fuel pump

If the fuel pump check valve is failing on a vehicle that old, you should likely replace the fuel pump, filter, and pressure regulator just as a matter of maintenance. Don't waste time with band-aid fixes.

I have bought a Pajero i0. Looks like it ran without oil and the valves bent somehow. Out another cylinder head and the thing won't start. Opened the in tank fuel pump and pressure seems low. I have a 0.3...

the bent valve was probably from a broken timing belt. If you replace the head and was not aware that you cannot turn anything during assembly then you probably have more bent valves in the new head. check by having a compression test done and this will also tell if the valve timing is right. The fuel pressure is too low but it may be a pump---blocked fuel filter or a faulty pressure regulator

Ran out of diesel, added diesel but now it wont start 2007 Chev 2500

Hello and welcome. you will have to perform the bleed procedure using the fuel prime on the fuel filter housing. there is a pump on top of the fuel filter assembly, on the passenger side of engine.

Open the vent valve screw (1) by turning the screw counterclockwise several full turns.

Operate the priming pump (1) by repeatedly pumping until a small amount of fuel seeps from the vent valve. Allow the pump to fully return upward between pumps. When fuel is present, the filter is full of fuel and the system is primed.
Close the vent valve screw.

My 2005 Trailblazer ran out of gas, now it won't start. It cranks and catches, but shuts right back off. Is there a fuel shut off valve? If so, where?

check fuel pressure may have gotten air in system-- at the fuel valve port under hood the valve looks like a tire valve and is on the fuel line have a rag handy turn key on not start u want to here fuel pump hum when stops turn off key and at valve with rag around depress pin should get fuel if air let bled and pressurize again continue till air out -if nothing and pump came on possible filter clog or pump burnt -if fuel, have pressure checked may not be enough pressure to keep running this also filter or pump damage good luck

Car wont rev

under the bonnet on the back of the mechanical pump there is a unit held in by 2 bolts
remove this unit and on the end there is a tiny filter
this will need cleaning because when the lift pump brakes down tiny parts of it get sucked up through the pipes and clog the filter
it may be best to feplace the fuel filter aswell

Have 93 chevy s10, stopped and started just fine

the other wire that is "dead" is the ground wire for the fuel pump. try cutting that wire after the connector towards the pump, and running it to a good clean ground.
