Dash board light/s are can be more than one---Q not clear & replacement is often VERY difficult---however as is posted already, if it is a FUSE (which likley would mean SEVERAL lights not working) the fuse box needs to be located---check the manual---there may be more than one fuse box---I am NOT aware of ANY car/vehicle that requires the dashboard to be REMOVED to locate the fuse-box---fuse identification is often ifdentified on the inside of the fuse box lid/cover--- don't use the WRONG sized fuse---potential damage/fire issues if TOO big a fuse fitted---modern fuses are generally COLOUR coded for simplicity.---If you don't understand, get help.

Check your fuses its probably just a blown fuse ,the tail lights and dash lights are linked through the same fuse.

I have a 1999 pontiac grand am and the tail lights and the dash lights do not work. I have checked all the fuses and bulbs. I discovered that the connector for the reverse lights on the bottom of the car...


THIS WOULD HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DASH LIGHTS... WHEN YOU TURNN ON YOUR PARKING LIGHTS YOU SEND POWER STRIEGHT FROM HEADLIGHT SWITCH TO THE DASH...NEED TO RECHECK PARK LIGHT FUSE...IF GOOD THE BAD HEAD LIGHT SWITCH SOUNDS MOST LIKELY

have to remove the instrument cluster, careful with the little shift wire, don't break it. best of luck

Hi its rob here what make and model of car is it? it sounds like the light switch is faulty but that wouldnt stop the brake lights workin try two stop and tail light bulbs then if you have stop lights your switch is at fault
