303 misfire code

I have done all this and still have the 303 code flashing light when you step on gas. P0303 is cylinder #3 misfire detected. Start by changing the spark plug. If that doesn't clear it then try changing the plug wire. If that doesn't clear it, then you might need to look at the injector. Changed the drivers side heat censor aswell

Trouble Code: P0303

Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected

Possible Causes:

Air leak in the intake manifold, or in the EGR or PCV system.Base engine mechanical fault that affects only one cylinder.Fuel delivery component fault that affects only one cylinder (i.e., a contaminated, dirty or sticking fuel injector).Ignition system problem (coil or plug) that affects one cylinder.TSB 00-06-04-024 contains a repair procedure for this code. Here's what is listed for this code.303 means it's cylinder 3 that has a problem. To check injector, may be dirty,is to trade it out with another cylinder and see if the problem has left cylinder number 3 and it's at where the injector went. Was the spark that you replaced oily or clean.Could be a mechanical problem, bad piston ring, usually a oily plug in this case.Check for leaks by number 3.

Having some concerns that this an answer to a submitted problem, rather than the original problem. But you can check the car further by switching an injector to see if the problem follows the switched injector.

Also clear the computer of the Code. You could have a bad wire from or socket in the coil-pak. As the wire lengths are usually too limited to interchange with other plugs, it may not be possible to temporarily swap the sparkplug wires.

At some point, you will need to check your compression. Poor sealing of the valves, sticking lifters, or bad rings can create the problem you have. There is also a cylinder balance test some testing devices can perform on a running engine.

Please rate my info.

Can not clear a 303 code HELP!!!!

After you make a repair you need to clear the computer codes. Try taking the pos cable off the battery for 5 or 10 minutes, then put it back on, DO NOT let the pos. cable touch anything on the car, wrap a thick rag around it.

I would like to know what does this codes means 300 302 303 304 305 and what to do to fix it. I have change the sparks and cables, the coils and the Orings of the ingectors. please help me

P0300 random/ multiple misfire detected
P0302 misfire cylinder #2
P0303 Misfire cylinder #3
P0304 Misfire cylinder #4
P0405 Misfire Cylinder #5

This is pretty common thing, and if you have already changed out the wires, coils, and and plugs then you maybe having trouble with the ECU. The good news is that there are local shops (not as expensive as dealerships) that can either flash or replace your ECU. If you don't have a local shop in your area that does this kind of work, then you will be stuck with the dealership.

Good luck,
