Wherei s the neutral safety switch
It is on top of the transmission where the shifter linkage connects to the transmission. Just under the linkage is the switch. No need to remove anything to get to is if you hands and arms are small enough. It has 2 hold down bolts and you must also remove the nut that connects the linkage.Here's a link to what it look's like.

this is part of the gear position switch on top of the trans where the shift linkage connects, it is mounted over the selector post that sticks out of the trans. Here is a picture.

OK then the switch is part of the gear selector switch on the side of the trans where the shift linkage hooks up. here is a picture and part number.

The switch is on the transmission..It is usually a dealer item but you can get one from Rockauto.com for about 1/4 of what the dealers charge.
