the oil filter should be to the right of the head at the front it is in an aluminium housing with a black plastic top on it with a 27mm nut on it
as for draining the oil you drain it through the sump plus as you normally would

Easy enough to do its inside a canister at the front of the engine on this year if its a later one, when you take the top off make sure that you use a magnet and get all the swarf out even use a brake and clutch spray and cotton bud if you have to as the slightest missed bit could end up in the pump and damage it ,it will self bleed itself as their is a electric lift pump in the fuel tank .The swarf comes from the pump and get returned to the tank by the leak off and then comes up into the filter its a common thing with these cars so do as a i say and you will have no problems .Makes a change to answer questions on cars i know about instead of american cars and i answer wrong as i assume its a diesel as the models stated i have only ever seen as diesels here in europe but they dont have them in america --strange i would have thought but wait till have to pay our prices for fuel then see what happens
