Again as in common with so many answers to questions i would to have a look but i would suggest that you check the wiring terminals on the alternator first ,Was this alternator a new genuine bosch exchange unit ? and not one from a scrapyard

2004 Nissan Altima 3.5L BATTERY LIGHT went on during 15 minute drive. Next day car "died" while idling after a 20 minute drive. BRAKE WARNING LIGHT & BATTERY LIGHT on prior to full electrical failure.

Start with checking the alternator voltage with a multimeter. With the car off check the voltage in the battery which should be holding 12v charged less if flat of course then start the car and test the battery again. If the alternator is good you should be getting a reading of 14 to 14.5 v if it's the alternator it'll A) not put any charge into the battery or B) be a very low voltage being anything under 13.5 v

The battery light does not mean the battery is bad. The battery is there only to start the vehicle. Once running, the alternator supplies the power to operate the car and recharge the power lost by the battery during the starting process. Anytime the vehicle draws more power than the alternator is producing, the battery light will come on. In most cases, this indicates a faulty alternator, but there could be other electrical issues that can cause the problem. Have the charging system tested to ensure that it is working okay. If you don't, you will discharge the new battery. Since you say it is only happening at idle, it is possible that the serpentine belt may be glazed and slipping, or that your belt tensioner may be weak and faulty. The belt drives the alternator and if it is slipping, that will reduce alternator output.

Battery light comes on while driving. Immediately after water pump/timing belt replacement. Replaced battery and alternator tests good. Intermittent battery light remains?

It sounds as though the belt may be slipping or is not tight enough?

If it's a toothed belt it won't slip - it may not be tensioned enough where it goes around the alternator pulley. They are adjustable.

A smooth non-toothed belt can slip.

Also, check the tightness of the battery leads where they connect to the battery and to the earth - on the bodywork/engine block

04 buick rainier, charge light goes off during high rpms

have the alternator bench tested for problem in regulator or rectifier. check and adjust the drive belt. Charge light should go off at at idle and remain off during whole of engine operation
if they come on at idle it means that the alternator is not producing a charge current and needs attention.

Battery light come on when driving and then goes off

When the battery light comes on it is telling you that there is a problem in the charging system. Have the charging system checked by a mechanic. Most likely the alternator is starting to fail.

Just replaced battery but battery light comes on goes off comes back on

The warning light is telling the driver the alternator is not charging the battery. The alternator and wiring would need to be checked.

The FuseLink is blown. It is a 100 AMP in-line fuse on the red wire from the alternator.
