Hi Ron!
PLEASE!
What do you mean by saying Still Runs Dead? does it run? or doesn't start?
Come on Bro! give me a shot at sorting your problem, I'll hazard a guess it will not turn/crank??
Check your security! i.e. immobiliser or if cranking then cambelt break?
Wrong fuel?
Give me some info! I need some Fixya blue buttons pressed to get me back to Guru!

My battery keeps getting drained when my car is not running. auto place said that I have a drain when my car is not running and that my battery andalternator test good. What might be draining my batte

The only way to solve this problem is to isolate which circuit is causing the problem. To do this you must have an amp meter. (one that will read up to 10 amps minimum; I doubt you are drawing more than that) With key off, disconnect the positive cable to the battery and insert amp meter, positive meter cable to positive terminal and negative meter cable to positive cable on car. Normal draw will be in the milliamps. Anything 1/4 amp or more I would consider abnormal. Then star removing fuses (one at a time) until drain disappears.

1992 pontiac sunbird good alternator, good battery , parisitic drain of battery when running?

charge the battery then remove the negative battery cable and place a test light between the cable and the battery remove fuses until the light goes dim also unplug and unbolt the alternator as bad diodes can draw on the system it can charge and still drain the battery down

Car starts in the moring everything showing good charging but about 10 to 15 min. car warmed up gage dropes to 8 not charging car dead check battery good what next.

Try charging your battery with a battery charger, then run your engine. If the alternator is good, it will show a slight charge ,but not all the way over. I really don't understand when you say not charging car dead.

I have a 1986 Toyota 4Runner V6. Often when you turn the key, the car won't start, but if you try it 2-4 times, it will eventually start. I have already replaced the starter relay, but the problem...

Sometimes the bushings in the starter often wear and give symptoms of a dead or dying battery, try disassembling the starter and change the bushings...

When key is turned off, heater motor still runs. We I turn the fan up it will move to a higher speed. What is wrong?

Hello Faraway farm.
The problem is for sure a stuck blower motor relay.
The relay is mounted on the firewall under the hood near the top about the center.
This is allowing battery power to be directed straight to the blower motor.
If you give it a tap with a screwdriver handle it may temporarily shut off, but it will stick again.

I have not started my 911 in over 3 years. Oil has leaked out, battery is dead. What steps should I take to get this car up and running? How much would it cost if someone else did it for me?

first drain the gas out and put fresh in (hopefully the fuel hasent turned to varnish), it wont hurt to change the fuel filter, get a new battery, change the oil, check all the other fluids.

once you've done all that try to start it

Car won't start

Did you put a multimeter on the coil and check for voltage coming out of the coil? To do this put the ground lead of the meter on the battery ground, then turn the ignition on and touch the positive lead of the meter to the coil. It should read around 12 volts.
