u need to hook it to a scanner to put the lite out--parts places doit--if no relief then computer may need reprogrammin cause it doesnt match new engine--a specialist shud do this-u cant use a wifi connection-too much data to download-----

easy you have either a faulty sensor on a wheel or the painted magnetic strip in the back of the bearing has been damaged or the cover the paint sits on has corroded away ,disconnect each sensor in turn and check for continuety first and if all ok then disconnect each one in turn with vehicle jacked up and spin wheel and using meter on lowest miliamp setting to see if you read a slight voltage on a fast spin of the wheel .

It simply means that its time for routing service and maintenance on your car. This will normally be reset when you take it in for an oil change.
1. Ford has issued a Special Service Message (SSM), stating that the owner's manual procedure is incorrect, and giving a revised procedure. The following is the text of the SSM:
18562 2005 FREESTYLE/FIVE HUNDRED/MONTEGO - OIL LIFE RESET PROCEDURE
THE 2005 FREESTYLE, FIVE HUNDRED, AND MONTEGO VEHICLE OWNER'S GUIDE OIL LIFE RESET PROCEDURE IS INCORRECT. TO RESET OIL LIFE ON VEHICLES WITHOUT MESSAGE CENTER, USE THE TRIP/RESET BUTTON TO TOGGLE THE ODOMETER DISPLAY TO 'OIL LIFE XX%'. THEN PRESS AND HOLD THE BUTTON FOR 10 SECONDS TO RESET TO 100%. THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WILL BEEP WHEN THE OIL LIFE IS RESET.
FOR VEHICLES WITH A MESSAGE CENTER, PRESS 'SETUP' TO DISPLAY 'PRESS RESET FOR SYS CHECK'. PRESS AND RELEASE 'RESET' TO START SYSTEM CHECK. WHILE 'OIL LIFE XX%' IS DISPLAYED, PRESS AND HOLD 'RESET' UNTIL 'IF NEW OIL HOLD RESET' IS DISPLAYED, THEN RELEASE. PRESS AND HOLD 'RESET' AGAIN UNTIL 'OIL LIFE SET TO 100%' IS DISPLAYED. The engine and transmission in this cars drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM (Power Train Control Module). Whenever a problem like this occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPEDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM
