Having this happen on both front brakes makes me think you have a bad master cylinder. What work have you done to it prior to this problem?

Did you have this problem before you got the tires? Sounds to me like the tires need to be balanced.

1999 Ford Taurus, steering wheel shakes when driving due to front passanger side tire movement/problem. The tires have been rotated and still problem from that area. What could it be?

Usually a steering wheel shake is a bad tire. Any chance you have 2 bad tires on the car? Only a front tire will make the steering wheel shake.

When driving my car the steering wheel shakes

If the steering wheel starts to shake between 55-65 MPH then you need to balance the wheels. If it shakes when you press the brakes, your brake rotors are warped and need to be cut or replaced. If the steering wheel shakes at low speeds then it's possible one of your rims is bent or one of your tires is out of round. Leaving a car parked for a long time in snowy and icy roads will damage your tires, causing them to warp. Depending on which situation is causing your steering wheel to shake, have it looked at.

There are a number of problem mentioned on the internet about brake problems and brake calipers seizing up. Smoke and smell from the right front wheel might lead a person to believe there is the best place to start looking.

My engine shakes. and shimmies

First thing that comes to mind is a bad steering stabilizer shock…if you have one. It will be a small shock absorber under the radiator support area.
Other things I would look at would be, is the wheel on straight and tight and you tightened the lug bolt in a star pattern, are the front wheels out of balance…can you swap front to rear tires and see if the problem goes away, check the front end and steering linkages for wear, are the front brake rotors the same…did you match them to the old ones – same interior axle diameter, thickness and overall diameter????? The wrong rotor will cause a shimmy and out of balance complaint, so double check your parts.

Front wheelsmoking and smelling like burn brakes

Shaky steering can be alot of things, so lets start with probable causes. Wheel alignment, wheels not balanced, worn out suspension or linkage. The smoking and burned brake smell could be the same problem if the caliper is sticking, this too can cause a shimmy or shake in the wheel... You really need to get those front wheels off and take a good look. If your not really privy to what exactly your looking for please take it to your trusted mechanic, and have them check it out...Good Luck!!

My rear passenger tire started smoking what could the problem be?

Are you sure it's the tire? It could be the brakes (not releasing) which could result in 'smoke'. The only way it could be the tire would be if it was rubbing on something, or you were spinning or locking up the tires. Feel the center of the wheel when you see the smoke, if it's very hot, it's probably the brakes not releasing.

Jeep front end shakes and locks up

Obviously you have some dangerous brake problems and shouldn't be driving it. With that said, besides putting everyone else in danger, as well as yourself, your heating up parts that become brittle when heated, and could snap off, like a wheel. You more than likely have warped rotors, seized calipers, defective flex hoses, just for starters. Park it until you can get it checked, please!
