SOURCE: need to know how to disconnect clutch master cyl

You do not have to. The pedal operates a ram that pushes the piston in the master cylinder.

Cluth is making a loud screeching noise when changing gear and when starting the car up.

Is it squeeling or a sound like metal to metal as if it squeels, then perhaps your alternator is getting bad or your serp belt, if its the other than perhaps your clutch maybe going start with the clutch flywheel hope that helps

I have a 1985 s10 with the2.8 5 speed trans when i let the cluch pedal up it makes a constant rubbing noise and a high pitched squeel and its all qieut when i shove the pedal down any sugestions?

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly,
Your clutch release bearing (throw out bearing) has failed. The transmission has to be unmounted from the engine to change this bearing. (Just like a clutch job!) Being this is a 1985 vehicle you should inspect the clutch plate and the pressure plate for wear. The fingers on the pressure plate should be quite worn if the throw out bearing is doing as you stated in your post. I.e rubbing sound and high pitched squeel. Inspection of the clutch plate consists of making sure the rivets are still not even with the friction pad surfaces. Don't forget to also inspect the engine flywheel for abnormal wear while your working in this area.

Things you might need.... U joints
Transmission rear seal
Clutch Plate
Pressure Plate

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

When I press in the clutch it makes a squeeling noise. Does it need clutch oil or replacement ?

it sounds like the throw-out bearing is bad, and that usually will require a new clutch.... or at least it is the best option(the whole clutch has to come out to replace the throw-out bearing on most clutches)

Squeel when clutch is out

more likely if the clutch is out and its squeals, more likely it will be throw out bearing which engage and dis engage on the pressure plate. the bearing is constantly spinning along with the pressure plate and the pad itself. any good mechanics can tell you what and were the squeal sound coming from by listening to it and sound and not cost you anything.

New master and slave still have no petal pressure or clutch

Was the slave cylinder bled correctly? If that's all set then that would leave the throw-out bearing and/or clutch assembly.

Hydraulic P20 tranny with hasport hydraulic > cable conversion. The arm that attaches to the TOB arm came out and the clutch stopped working. When i popped the hood and looked i found the bolt that...

The throw out bearing arm was on the outside of the clutch actuator arm. The throw out bearing arm should go into the clutch actuator arm with a bolt going into the clutch actuator arm through the throw out bearing arm. I used some blue locktite to make sure the bolt didn't come out again. See pic below.

Squeeling noise when pressing the clutch

That noise is coming from the throw-out bearing, its dry and worn needs to be replaced. While you are in there you should do the whole clutch job becuse you need to remove the tranny to change that bearing which consists of Pressure plate, clutch plate throw-out bearing center bearing and resurfacing of flywheel.maybe even a new slave cylinder. Good Luck

When I engage the clutch, sometimes it makes a whining sound.

If it is a throw-out bearing it will only make noise when pressure is applied to clutch pedal, there is also a pilot bearing that will squeel with clutch in if bad. when doing a clutch replacement all these parts should be replaced.
