Question about 1994 Dodge Intrepid
The Diagrams I have been looking at she the motor positioned like a front wheel drive. my motor faces the front of the vehicle. is 1&2 up front in the firing order or is 5&6 like it shows in my diagram?

the water pump is timing chain driven and to replace it requires serious disassembly of the engine. it is a 13 + hour job and is not for the casual mechanic

5.2L and 5.9L Engines Firing Order: 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 Distributor rotation: Clockwise

The spark plug firing order is ( 1 - 4 - 2 - 5 - 3 - 6 )
The engine cylinders are 1 , 2 , 3 from front to rear on the passenger side of the engine and 4 , 5 , 6 from front to rear on the drivers side of the engine
The coil pack towers are numbered 1 , 2 , 3 from front to rear in the row nearest the passenger side and 5 , 6 , 4 from front to rear in the row nearest the drivers side
