SOURCE: sluggish engine pontiac g6

Sounds like a transmission issue, have the car scanned for ant transmission related codes. Most transmission shops will check to make sure your transmission is working 100% free of charge. With what you have described, almost sounds like you don't have 1st or 4th gear and your transmission is running on 2nd and 3rd gear. Easy fix if the 1st-4th solenoid needs to be replaced, or the wire harness has gone bad. Start with getting your car scanned and let me know if your transmission is starting on 2nd. Good luck

SOURCE: the heater in my 2008 pontiac G6 doesn't work how do i fix it

Is the fan blowing for the vents? If not the problem is a fan issue which is much more likely. The hot water usually goes through the heater core all the time and the only reason you get heat when called for is that air is directed across the fins and coils where your engine coolant is going through. Of course the heat does not come on until the engine has heat built up in it say after about 7 minutes of run time depending on ambient temperature.

How can I tell which catalytic converter is bad on my 2005 Pontiac g6

If its restricted there will be a loss of engine power. If exhaust has the rotten egg smell converter is over worked due to excessive fuel, check fuel system. Restriction can be checked with a vacuum gauge. Connect gauge to full manifold vacuum, speed engine to about 1800 rpm's vacuum should rise if vacuum decreases there is a restriction in the exhaust system.

Pontiac g6 loud muffler noise

It could be a leak at the manifold, or somewhere along the exhaust system. Mine was leaking at the flex connects on the exhaust.

Fix a whistle on a 2007 G6 3.9L Convertable from the exhaust

locate the whistle noise with a hose with one end to your ear, then probe the exhaust connections until the noise gets loud in your ear.

If it's near the catalytic converter and performance is down, it could be plugged.
