Problem Solved Look No Longer. Overdrive switch fuse blown, auto door locks not working, fuse after fuse after fuse, chasing wires grrrr. Remove the steering column cover (3 screws from the bottom) opens like a **** shell. Your switch is located on the shift lever, the wire for the switch is routed through the handle and comes out where the shift lever mounts to the column. Look very closely at the wire in this area. Most likely rubbed through. MR

Wow, that's a great question, as I researched it, I found listings of cabin air filters at some parts suppliers, but could find no reference to location or info in the original owners manual. So, what I found is that it was a dealer add on option, not standard equipment or a factory available item. If you have the dealer add on, it should be located under the dash glove box, but you most likely don't have it. The kit # if you want to add it is the following Ford part #, but it may not be available, and check w/ Ford to make sure it will fit your year, model, as I got this # off the internet, and haven't checked it at the Ford website:F65Z-18D477-AA. Good luck!

Testimonial: "Thanks for your help. The auto parts store mentioned that there were 2 filters but did not mention that they were an option on my truck. Thanks again"
lower tailgate.look for small 8 or 10mm bolts that hold tail light assembly in place .remove bolts, pull assembly off.there are also plastic 'pins' that align and help hold the tail light.grasp bulb socket and twist to remove.pull bulb straight out.

Have you check your truck for the Cruise control recall that ford haves for this year of a truck. I own a 2001 Ford Expedition and they re-place a wiring harness on the top right of my Engine, close to the firewall. It have a fuse in line with it. The re-call stated that the cruise control can star a fire in the Engine if the wire's get to hot. So maybe your wire's already meted and are stopping the power from traveling to the unit.

It's located in the fuse panel under the hood of the vehicle in the engine compartment. Below is a diagram of the fuse layout. I marked the fuel pump relay. I also marked the 20 amp fuse for the fuel pump for you. In case you didn't know and just want to be sure, there is a fuel pump cut off switch as well. Below is a picture of its location and where you see the blue arrow pointing down there is either a white or red button to push down to reset it. Hope I was able to help....
