Question about 1994 GMC Sierra
When i put on my breaks the engine stutters and the break lights won't work. i chenged the break switch and the steering column. any ideas?
Sounds like you have 2 problems here.?
The engine stuttering sounds more likely to be an air leak on your brake servo system, weakening the mixture, and this will give you a lumpy tick over.
As for the stop lights, No 1 check its not the fuse.
You need to confirm you are getting a live feed to the brake switch with a 12v test light.
If OK, bridge this connection and recheck your feeds at the stop light bulbs.
