it is located on the passengerside under the altenator closest to the firewall. make sure the vehicle is turned off reach in under the altenator and you should feel the cap.

first be sure that its the engine light and not the "service" light. the service light will usually illuminate if its time for an oil change. if its the service light ur owners manual should tell u how to reset it. if its ur engine light then try disconnecting ur positive battery cable for 1 minute. that should reset ur ecm and get rid of the engine light. if the engine light comes back on then have a diagnostic scan done to determine whats causing it. I have the exact car w/same exact problem. I was told that ist was the speed sensor, which just so happens to be located inside the transmission w/a $400. repair bill.

Remove everything from the headliner and remove all of the trim holding it in place. Carefully pry the headliner out from one side and the rest will now be easily removed. Unless the car has been subject to abuse and intense heat the headliner will not come loose from the backing and can be reinstalled.
