Will what have you checked for dose it have spark , dose it have fuel? if it will not start with starting fuild i would say that you have no spark . go to one of the plug wires remove it from the spark plug install a spark checker you can buy one at any parts store . crank mtr do you have spark. if not check another one that way you can rule out the coil pack still no spark may have a bad crank sensor . at this time i would take it in to a repair shop so they can test that item . unless you want to replace it and take a risk that it may not solve your problem good luck kdc744

How do i add transmission fluid to my 98 mercury mystique

To add the fluid you need a funnel and it gets put in your dipstick port. Add a very little at a time and keep checking until dsired amount is there. Don;t over fill it as it may cause your tranny to burn out slip or even fail to operate.

My mercury mystique ran out of gas I put gas in it but wont start

Turn the key on and listen for the fuel pump to prime, you ran out of gas, if it was weak to begin with that may have finished it.

Check for vacuum leaks. You can spray starting fluid around all parts of the intake.Observe idle as you do.If there is a leak the engine rpm will race higher. Also listen for hissing noise. Is the check engine light on?..If so what codes are stored..Good Luck!!!
