SOURCE: Blower motor has only low speed

You may need to get the correct resistor, as they are designed to only allow so much amperage to go through them. If it is getting very hot it is runnig to many amps through it. It will eventually blow and you will need to replace it anyway.

SOURCE: Heater on 1990 Toyota Camry mysteriously quits

If you mean the blower stops, make sure you have access to the blower. Turn on heater when blower stops check to make sure it still has power which I think it will. This will tell you that the blower motor is going bad and shutting down when it is warmed up. To repair just replace the blower motor.

Replace blower motor 1990 camry

I've changed 3. Two in Camry's and one in an Accord. You HAVE to remove the glovebox and everything that goes behind it. the Unit is huge. Also the carpet will come into play as you are in the final stage. Don't forget about the bolts in the dashboard. You have to open the passenger door to see it or them.
