SOURCE: Toyota V6 fuel pressure amount

The fuel pressure regulator is on the driver side fuel rail, close to the back of the engine. You need to pull the intake plenum off to access the pressure regulator.

The normal operating fuel pressure is 38 to 44 PSI

on either side of the boot interior, there are what look like air vents. these clip out from the top (with a flat screwdriver) you then unbolt the light unit, pull it out. the bulb holder then unclips easily.

Smell gas while driving inside car

A leaking fuel line can be discovered by looking for gaspuddles under your car when parked. A fuel-injection line may also leak, causing you to notice the smell of gasfumes during and immediately after driving. A fuel-tank vent hose may also leak, causing unburned gas to exit your fuel system as vapor.24 Apr 2015

My car smells like gas when I turn the engine off. The smell is NOT in my car but smells up the garage

Possible leaky fuel injector/regulator/fuel line. Possible disconnected/loose fuel purge/vent line. Possible leaky fuel filler tube or fuel tank. You will need to have the fuel system/lines inspected to determine source of smell. Not something I would put off as a major leak could develop and spill fuel on hot engine/exhaust causing fire

I had the in tank fuel pump replaced, but now can smell petrol from inside the car. why is this and is the car safe to drive?

it could be a fuel leakage or lingering smell from the mechanic getting inside the car. gas is very powerful smell so clean the car out and have air fresheners. if the smell persist even after then have the car taken back to check for any fuel leakage.

Fuel smell inside ford 2002 explorere when running air

Hey man odds are you have a small fuel leak under the hood probably like a pinhole in a fuel line. When you turn on the ac you are pulling air from the front of the vehicle in turn pulling in the fuel smell. Find and stop the leak and that should get rid of the smell in the cab when the ac is running.
