Go put your key in the inigtion turn it to the on position lisen if you can't hear your fuel pump that means it went out due to lack of gas.
you might have to go to the back pf the car by the gas tank so that you can tell if it is working.

If you put up the hood first, then try to start the car and there is no clicking sound from the starter at all tells me that its your starter that is not kicking into the engine to start it. And if the starter is trying to start the engine that your fuel injectors are clogged so you need to put injector cleaner into your gas tank to clean the injectors that allows the gasoline to get into the piston chambers so the car can start. After you put the injector cleaner into tank that you might have to keep trying to start the car so the injector cleaner gets into cleaning the tips of the injectors.

Ok, open trunk, there is carpet in there. Either the carpet is just sitting in there and held in by some plastic screws or nuts or the carpet is held in by the trim on the edge. If it's held in by the trim, remove trim either by removing screws that hold it in or if no screws they should pop right out. If the carpet is held in by screws/nuts those screws/nuts can either be on the outside the carpet or even under it if carpet is held in by the trim. There is at LEAST 3 screws/nuts holding light in. There could be 4. When all nuts are removed, you should be able to wiggle lamp housing out. If you can't, you can tap on those bolts sticking out to help get it started. If it still will not come, double check to make sure ALL screws/nuts are removed.

SOURCE: 2001 Dodge Stratus will not start

Take air intake hose off at throttle body, open up throttle plate, and spray about 2 or 3 seconds of WD-40 into the throttle body. Now try to start it, if it kicks over & starts for a second or 2, then you've got spark, but not fuel in most cases. Let us know results. Can you hear a "hum " from rear area (gas tank) ,of car when you turn key to on position, but not start?

03 Dodge Stratus ran out of gas and now wont start

There is no reset.
The fuse and pump relay should be in the fuse box near the battery.
You may have to disconnect the filter or the rail to let the air out of the system. And you may have plugged up the screen in the tank.

1997 Stratus Won't Start

you probably ran it to low and sucked some trash out of the tank. try changing the fuel filter or put some gas in it because the little fuel you had in it probably evaporated over night.
