DRLmodule location 2004 grand caravan

There is no separate DRL module in this vehicle. DRL is performed by software detecting the need for DRL (daylight and engine running) and achieves DRL by pulsing the power to the high beam lights. The power pulsing is done by the front control module in the integrated power module once it gets the command from the body control module. You'll need a scan tool to see if the BCM has commanded the DRL on. If it is and you're not getting any DRL,

My 99 ford ranger keeps blowing fuse # 27. Utube video said in column, scuffed wires to O/D buttonn dismantled column, no scuffed wires Where do I look next?

This fuse also powers , transmission control switch , DRL module , back up lights switch , digital transmission range sensor and the pulse vacuum hublock solenoid .
DRL module is daytime running lamp module . look at the transmission range sensor . Disconnect thing's one at a time till fuse no longer blows or disconnect everything an then replace fuse the connect thing's one at a time till it blows , then you found your problem circuit .

Head lights turns on 2hours after ignition is off 2005 Gmc envoy 4.2 l6

The headlamp driver module (HDM) is an electronic module that provides electrical power to the vehicle low beam headlamps. The HDM is controlled by a pulse width modulated (PWM) ground signal from the body control module (BCM). The BCM determines the desired lamp intensity using the ambient light sensor, multifunction switch and the park brake switch as inputs. In general, the HDM will operate in 1 of 3 modes:
Your best bet have it checked by a qualified repair shop ! May have DTC'S diagnostic trouble codes .
DTC B2575
DTC B2575 Headlamp Control Circuit
When the body control module (BCM) senses a request for headlamp or daytime running lamp (DRL) illumination, the BCM sends a pulse width modulated (PWM) ground signal to the low beam headlamp driver module through the low beam headlamp driver module control circuit. The low beam headlamp driver module will illuminate the headlamps, adjusting the intensity based on the PWM signal received.
DTC B2580 Headlamp High Beam Control Circuit
DTC B2645 Ambient Light Sensor Circuit
The body control module (BCM) monitors the ambient light sensor signal circuit in order to determine if the daytime running lights (DRL) or the auto headlights (ALC) should be turned ON in the AUTO mode. When the BCM senses the ambient light sensor signal voltage is between 1.75-4.9 volts, either the DRL will be commanded ON or the ALC will be commanded ON depending upon the amount of light received by the sensor.

2010. where is DRL module located?

Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) NOTE: The smart junction box (SJB) must be configured when installing a new module. For additional information, refer to Section 418-01 .
The DRL system operates the low beam headlamps at a reduced intensity. The SJB supplies pulse width modulated (PWM) voltage to illuminate the low beam headlamps at a reduced intensity when the following conditions are met:
  • The headlamp switch is not in the HEADLAMPS ON position.
  • The ignition switch is in the RUN position.
  • The transmission is not in PARK (P).
This dealer only repair ,unless you have the ford IDS (factory scan tool ) .

How do I fix an Isuzu 1997 NPR diesel whose daytime running lights start blinking continuously after warming up?. They stop when head lights or high beams are turned on.

the logic module for DRL on many cars this old, like to burn up.
did you look at it first? for damage (burn marks on pins?) that be first
other reasons (i just measure each pin on the box, to find cause)
guessing usually fails if no seen damage.
1: loose fuse to DRL box>
2: burn pins.
3: hand brake sending lies to the DRL (switch)
4: charge lamp on, or pulsing ( the DRL shuts down with the alternator is flaky or dead. SO you can drive farther and not stall in day time. (see? that reason?)
is this car in CAnada., we cant give accurate answers,
DRL is regulated by laws in YOUR country. (design and fuctions)
so where are you??? In USA its and OPTION. only.

its stops because that is the DRL override pints on DRL box.
after all they want HL to work when driver demands them.
so,, that tells me the inputs to DRL box are wrong.
(no burned pins first.)

tell more, get more, like country. but only 2 have in 1 zillion posts.
and that makes answers impossible or must be generic .

when the mech, sees car, he looks at VIN,
He checks his wallet id and goes, ok i work in canada.....(LOL !!!)
OMG this car is from JAPAN? where did you get that?
as in sold only to Japaneses citizens? called JDM cars?
this happens alot in Canada, (for example) in that before 1998
you can buy gray market cars or USA cars, Calif cars. and real Canada market cars.... see???? see why real help is impossible>?

Hello,I use honda accord 2004model,(EOD) the DRL life is on,yello lite, pls explain better to me.thanks

in canada? with DRL?
is the charge (battery Light on running)
nice photo but do name all lights, i see idle is at 800rpm good.
i see check engine light there, top left. so you need to scan PCM
using any scan tool
that is first.

DRL can shut down for other failures one is charge lamp. on.
if charge lamp is on , do not drive far, or it will stall and battery will discharge and be stranded. (till AAA auto tow is called <jumped)

Day time running light problem

The problem with the DRL issue describd in the above posts is the DRl module(it needs to be replaced). The buzzing relay and intermittent on/off of passenger side DRl are indicators that the module needs to be replaced.
