Do you have add-on GPS? Is is always plugged into Lighter socket? Un plug it. It is power vampire.

Do you have light in trunk or glovebox not shutting off? Test this on dark night.

My 86 toyota pickup keeps draining my battery when i turn the key over, have good altenator, battery, fuses are good and have good grounds

Your battery has a few dead cells, replace the battery. A good battery should crank your engine for a while before it goes dead.

My battery and altenator keep goind dead what is my problem

Replace the alternator. If it is not putting out a charge it will continue to drain the battery while running after fully charging the battery.

Altenator keeps burning up and draining the battery. Also the RPM's are high when in idol.

check to see if your voltage regulator is in the alternator or on the side wall. a bad voltage regulator will keep draining the battery.

Replaced battery on my 05 focus, had the altenator rebuilt by a specialist, battery is still being drained, i got it fully charged, then it worked for about a week, then dead again, my altenator is pumping...

You could have a bad battery they can be faulty from new,to check the draw on your battery get a amp meter and with the ign off and all doors closed ,remove the earth lead off the battery, connect the meter to the pole and other lead to the battery lead and check the flow,[should be no more than 1 amp with everything off .If there is a draw then move to the fuse box and remove each fuse till the draw goes get a buddy to keep an eye on the meter till the needle drops and what ever fuse that is removed when the needle drops then thats the problem circuit.Check the trunk light first.

Battery keeps failing

Have you had a charging system and battery test performed. Lead acid batteries are very fickle. A battery that is kept at a low charge (,11.7 volts) can and will eventually lose a cell (bad cell at test). I have rarely recovered these batteries. Your altenator needs to be load tested and the vehicle needs a drain test to complete the diagnosis of this problem.

You can keep throwing new batteries at this and will come up disappointed. If you have the original battery in the vehicle (ACDELCO) consider yourself lucky to get this many years out of it.

Most Auto Parts stores offer a free battery and altenator test while battery in vehicle.

1994 Cadillac Seville is draining the battery. Pulled the modular fuse and Radio fuse and still getting a drain on the battery. Disconnected the altenator and still getting a drain on the battery. What...

Check the cells on the battery, if they are dry or not full of water then they can go bad. That would incorporate the battery to keep dying. When you start the car it feeds off the alternator, and then starts to die.
Check your charging system, test the battery.

HAVE BATTERY CHECKED IT COULD BE BAD OR HAVE A DEAD CELL IN IT.ALSO CHECK ALTERNATOR OUT PUT.IT SHOULD BE 13.5 TO 14.5 VOLTS. IF NOT THE ALTERNATOR ALREADY BEEN REPLACED YOU HAVE BLOWN FUSE OR FUSELINK.OR THE ALTERNATOR WIRES COULD BE DAMAGED OR BROKE.MAKE SURE YOUR ALTERNATOR BELT NOT SLIPPING.IF ALL IS GOOD.YOU NEW ALTERNATOR COULD HAVE A FACTORY DEFECT.IT COULD BE BAD.
