SOURCE: Nissan Sentra License Plate Light Not Working

the license plate because of its position gets a lot of dirt and water problems so i would go back and take another good look remove the bulbs again and see if you can clean the inside with a little sand paper or a little scrape with a small screwdriver then spray with a little sileacone oil replace bulbs. Then switch lights on they should be ok if not try moveing them slightly with your fingers they should light.please let me know how you get on.adrian

SOURCE: Nissan Narvara Lights problem

Check for a good ground. Remember, these vehicles have a LOT of plastic in them. Each light regardless of where it is almost always has its own ground wire. It's not like the old days when a car was made out of metal and the ground was "built in'.
If I remember right, Nissan has two ground wires on the battery; the large one normally seen on vehicles and a smaller one that is grounded to the body. That is where I would start. From there, I would check the ground around the fuse locations and work out to the light pigtails themselves. Use a good OHM meter to check continuity.
Hope this helps.....

Where is the fuse for the license plate lights on a 05 Nissan Maxima lights not working all other lights work but license plate lights I can't see both lights blowing out at the same time

It is not on a separate fuse, either you have a bad connection or wire....or you need to replace both bulbs. I think I would start with bulbs and go from there.

Need to replace fuse for license plate bulbs for 2010 Ford Edge SEL....What fuse number is it?

normally the number plate light is on the same fuse as the park lights . I would be looking for a fault in the number plate area ( broken wire or blown bulb or bad/ no earth)

No rear side lights or no plate light on my nissan navara 2008 pick up

any time two or more electircal gadgets die together a common item, such as a fuse, is to be checked. in your case seems the light circuit, excluding the headlights, has a fault. if the fuse blows again i would examine the wiring harness, especially to the rear lights, for damage and then each of the light sockets for dampness. if no fault is found, i would replace the light switch relay and then the switch itself.

Where can I find free wiring diagrams for a 1983 Nissan 720 2.4L? Most specifically for ignition and fuel pump control. Thank-you.

cannot find fuel pump circuit, but here is engine. I assume fuel pump will come off the "Run" wire shown below branching below the Ignition Switch that says "To Fuse Block." The fuse block will have a fuse and/or relay for the pump and will then have a wire from the fuse box to the pump. OK?

2004 Nissan Maxima: my rear lights not working.

look for a fuse, inside fuse box cab, or plate lights, perhaps other items don't work at the same time, look for any loose wire in trunk area
