Open the hood, one of the heater hoses will have a vacume pod or a cable going to it,ether remove the cable and and open the valve by hand, this will allow water to travel through the heater core,in turn will create heat,or you don't have your heater turned on

Static sound driver side

It's probably the sound of air rushing by louvers.. without knowing the year make and model of the car it's hard to guess.

The air will not blow out of the dash vents"why"?

need to re install vacuum line back to the vent knob so that it can direct the vacuum to a damper which opens and closes the air flow to your vents.this vacuum lose can also interfere with engine performance.

1981 corvette air conditioner ventilation

hi

this is because
1.there is some blockage in the line comin up and to sides.
2.the selector switch is not properly functioning. the flaps got stuck and it may allows only air to pass through the floor vents.

please vote me if my answer was useful to you.

did you check the vacuum source of all heater controls inside the dash? maybe the actuating door valve has a leak due to an air line. also the selector mode switch could be bad

Heat blowing out drivers, but wont get HOT. cold air comin n on pass. side. help me?? antifreeze level is good. 2000 dodge grand caravan SE

Heat IS blowing out on drivers side, BUT it wont get hot ?
As long as you have heat, but not on passenger side, I would say your diverter is door is not operating, may be vacuum , or electrical, check under dash make sure no vacuum lines are leaking.

I am not getting any type of heat in my 92 Eldorado. What could be the problem? There is air comin through the vents, but its cold.

If the heater control valve is not opening, no hot coolant will circulate through the heater. It may be controlled by vacuum or cable from heat/air control. This valve is a gate type like gas or water valve in your home, usually located on engine firewall. Turn it manually to see if the air gets warm in vents. IT will have 2 hoses hooked to it, an in and out from engine block or head or even intake manifold.

95 escort smoke from vents vibration when accelerating why??

The smoke you could be seeing may be steam, your heater inside the vehicle may have a leak and causing steam to rise out of the vents, if you are smelling the steam this is what I suspect.
Engine vibration could be a number of things, check the engine mounts to start, one of them is probably broken.

Heat

So I am guessing the heater core, the only other thing it would be would be any leak that is allowing moisture in the car. is the floor board wet on the passengers side?
