    do you hear the pump motor running all the time ? maybe a fualty or unplugged air compressor , also there is a air suspension relay located in the relay box next to the battery . and a air suspension compressor relay in the same relay box . please check these .

This is Very Common. You will need new Air Bags on the Rear.

    Jack up the Rear end and Put it on Blocks or Jack Stands. Very Simple Just take the Bolts out top and Bottom. Make sure that you Jack it up under the Body and not the Frame for this Repair. BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Air bag pump is running, new airbags . rear bags wont air up.

These Lincoln air suspensions are terrible. I have converted many over to coil springs at a fraction of the cost of replacing/repairing the bags. If the rear bags don't inflate, there is a broken air line to the bags or the bags are leaking

2001 expedition air suspension 2 front air bags work and rear only one works what can it be

The best solution is to replace the air shocks with
the conventional conversions, offered by several
companies

Brand New or Older Navigators or Expeditions are not
worth the expense of diagnosing those systems, time
& time again

Most people like the ride of the conversion

Check all the big shock names on the internet

If you need more, I have auto trade publications I get free
& lots of vendors in there

Why won't rear end raise up ?

I have a 2000 Lincoln Town car, had the same problem, it was the rear air suspension/shocks. They are air bags basically that levels your car and it cost about $300.00 for each at the dealer for parts and install but it also has its own motor that inflates and deflates these air bags and I also had to replace that and that cost over $400.00 installed at the dealer.

If rearbag has a hole will this affect start ing? Depletes charge in new battery

You will have to turn the air ride system off until the bag is fixed. Otherwise the pump will run continuously trying to fill the bag. This will obviously kill the battery.

Rear air shocks not inflating

the most common cause of this is the air suspension bags are leaking, this is esp true on cars with over 100,000 miles, look for creases that are cracked in the rubber of the air suspension bags, that is where they leak.

REAR AIR BAG SUSPENION

Hello;
The inflatrion air valves have probably gone bad. You can buy the valves seperate from the air bags but make sure your bags are in good shape. The air valves come (or did) with the new air bags. May be time to replace the rears with new. Hope this helps, please rate me high;

Rear air ride shock over inflate and will not deflate

I would recommend going to strutmasters.com and taking a look at the conversion kits. these convert you from the airbag to a powder coated American made steel coil spring that is guaranteed to last the life of the car. Airbags and compressors are constantly having to be replaced. Also something alot of people don't know is that theses air suspensions are not meant to be in temperatures above 90 Degrees or below 40 Degrees. That is most of the world. The temperature will cause you to replace alot of bags. and typically when your replacing a bag you are going to have to replace the compressor to because the bag had a hole or small crack in it causing the compressor to over work and it will die. I posted the link below so you can take a look http://www.strutmasters.com/lincoln-suspension-parts-s/1.htm I hope I was of some help Good Luck!!!

2001 Ford Expedition XLT EB rear air bag suspension does not inflat

Sounds like the seals may have failed in the air shocks themselves. I also think you may have a bleeder valve problem. Follow the lines back and check the bleeder valve to see if it is leaking when you have someone else turn the vehicle on.
