Question about 2004 Honda Pilot
Our battery died about 6 months ago. we replaced it with a new battery and the car worked great. Now it is dead again, the car will start up with a charge but once you stop and turn the car off it will not start again.
The charging circuit/voltage maybe faulty.
I recommend you get an auto electrician to check out your alternator and charging regulator.

SOURCE: Need Honda Civic Audio CODE
I had the same problem, took it to a Honda dealership and it took them about 2 minutes to reset it, and he gave me the code. All for free, and I didn't buy the car there. Don't pay!

There is a MAIN?BATTERY FUSE in the main fuse Box in the hood that control battery power(this is a BIG fuse like a 90-100amp). First check battery cables and make sure that they are tight and free of all corrosion if there is corrosion this can be clean with a solution of baking soda and water. Good luck and thanks for using FIX YA

SOURCE: car is dead
ok how long did the car sit with a flat battery it may have lost its code for the immobiliser as it is held in the ecu so disconect battery for about five minutes then try and lock the car and unlock this may take a few times till it reconises the car key if this fails it will have to go to dealers to get the code put back in to it hope ive helped you

This happens because the removal of the current to the computer or CPU gets de-programed. You may be able to solve the problem (if it comes up gain ) by disconnecting the negative cable with the engine off. Then renstalling it back after a minute. This will reprogram the computer.

The instructions for installing a new alternator usually read to fully charge the battery (12.3 - 12.8 volt range). Otherwise, the alternator will be damaged when it initializes. I have seen some extreme damage result from installing a new alternator with a low-charge battery. The torque required to turn an alternator when damaged in this scenario is unbelieveable!
