Possible that the fluid pump in the transmission is going bad.
Best bet is to take it to a reputable transmission shop and have it diagnosed.

Why won't it engage transmission?

Most likely a clutch band broke. Other parts cold have broke, but they usually grind first. Time for a rebuild. ($2000+). No shop will just fix the problem.

Why won't 2003 Trailblazer come out of 4 low

Hello,,you may have to much stress on the drive line system,if on dry ground jack up one of the front corners so the tire leaves the ground,if oyr in a wet of icy area spin the tires a bit to relieve the stress,, also must be stopped or in park to shift in and out,,you could also try backing up a ways in case front accuator isnt releasing properly,,good luck.

Service four wheel drive light on,cant shift into 4wd cold only ,below 45F,drive awahile resatrt the truck it works fine, warm days no problems .

Vehicles: 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer 4WD 4.2L SFI DOHC 6-cylinder

Your front 4WD Transfer case is low on Gear Oil.
On warm days, the Gear Oil expands slightly, and is less viscous, so the "Service 4WD" light stays off. On colder days/mornings the story changes.

The following paragraph has info applying to the manual differential only:
The 2002 Trailblazer (the first year Chevy made the Trailblazer) has a Front Differential using 1.11 (that's 1 and 1/9th) Quarts Gear Oil, and a Rear Differential with a capacity of 2.29 (thats 2 and 2/7ths) Quarts Gear Oil.
The Gear Oil needed is GM Part No.12345349 or GM Part No.1052931 (they're identical), also known as "GM Synchromesh"(R), which is a type of GLS (Gear Lubricant, Special), also known as "Manual Synchromesh Transmission Fluid 5W30". A synthetic version of which sells for $12.70/qt (USD) at
http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/mtf.aspx

This is not to be confused with 5W30 motor oil (which can be had for $3.00/qt (USD)).

The 2002 Trailblazer 4WD Transfer Case (NV126 Transfer Case) capacity is 0.8 Liters of GM Part No.12378508 (US), also known as "GM Auto Trak II"(R).
Note that one Quart (US) = 0.946 Liter, so 0.8 Liter = 27.06 ounces.

Red Line sells something that they say replaces both GM Synchromesh and GM Auto-Trak II for $12.14/Qt and $44.55/Gal (US) at
http://www.shopwiki.com/Red-Line-MTL-70W80-GL~4-Gear-Oil-%281-Quart%29

13 Manufacturer Recalls apply to the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer (model year 2002 was the first year Chevy offered the Trailblazer), and two recalls pertain to the 4WD Transfer Case. Note that one of the recalls applies to only 895 units, so your vehicle is unlikely to be affected by this Transfer Case recall.

Consequence
IF THE GEAR IS NOT ENGAGED, THE VEHICLE CAN ROLL WHEN THE TRANSMISSION IS IN "PARK" AND A CRASH COULD RESULT WITHOUT WARNING.

Remedy
DEALERS WILL UPDATE THE TRANSFER CASE CONTROL MODULE CALIBRATION TO INCREASE GEAR ENGAGEMENT. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN NOVEMBER 6, 2001. SEP 05, 2001 ' Recall ID# 26006

Recall Reason POWER TRAIN:TRANSFER CASE (4-WHEEL DRIVE)
Recall Date SEP 05, 2001
Model Affected TRAILBLAZER
Potential Units Affected 895

Recall Summary
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES (4 WHEEL-DRIVE). SOME OF THESE VEHICLES WERE BUILT WITH A RANGE SHIFT COLLAR IN THE TRANSMISSION TRANSFER CASE THAT CONTAINS CRACKS.

Consequence
THIS CONDITION COULD RESULT IN A COMPLETE FRACTURE OF THE RANGE SHIFT COLLAR AND SUBSEQUENT LOSS OF VEHICLE FORWARD AND REVERSE GEARS, AND THE INABILITY TO MAINTAIN "PARK" POSITION. THIS INCREASES THE RISK OF A VEHICLE CRASH RESULTING FROM UNINTENDED MOVEMENT OF A PARKED VEHICLE.

Remedy
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE TRANSFER CASES AND UPDATE THE CONTROL MODULE CALIBRATION. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN SEPTEMBER 6, 2001. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT CHEVROLET AT 1-800-222-1020 OR GMC AT 1-800-462-8782.

I have a 2004 Trailblazer and my rear a/c starts out blowing cold air but gets warm shortly after but the front a/c keeps blowing cold air all the time???? what could cause that ????

Just a little low on freon can make it get too cold and it freezs if you in position to check the freon level you'll find with the system on high and the engine reved up the low pressure is below 25PSI. fill it to reved up is above 25 and your problem will go away. Low on freon will make it cold enough to frezze up and then warm up as the air does'nt go though the ice. it'll work good as you start up till it frezzes and after it's stopped up with ice it blows warm (it's really too cold). the more freon in the system the warmer it'll all blow because all the pressures are higher and it's the difference in pressures that make it cold.

2005 chevy trailblazer, rough start, stalls, gas smell, warms up idles fast, once it warms up ok. Acts like it is going to die. Sputters. Changed air filter. Changed sparked plugs, changed oil. Did...

With temperature related problems, check your intake manifold bolts for tightness. Our intakes are plastic and have a tendency to become loose, causing vacuum leaks. When it warms up, the plastic intake will expand sealing any leaks. But when it's cold, will contract, causing leaks. Easiest to check are cylinder #5 & 6 near the fire wall.

Also, clean your throttle body, a dirty throttle body will cause idle problems, especially in TB's because we don't have a true PCV valve, so gets dirty which causes sticking of the butterfly.

We have a 2002 Trailblazer and today the check gage light come on and it read to turn engine off. When we were moving it was fine ,but when we stopped at a red light or in traffic it read the same thing....

I can't speak for the engine light issue, but look into stepper motors for your gauges for the oil pressure issue. I just purchased a used '04 Trailblazer EXT and the tachometer stopped working 1 week after driving it off the lot. I did some looking and apparently the Delphi motors that GM used do not hold up. 04 gmc yukon heater air cold passanger side.

If this happens when you are idle, and then you get hot air as you drive, most likely you have low coolant and it only cycles as you drive. Get approved dextrom gmc coolat and cap off your coolant it is most likely low.

A/c stopped blowing cold air. One minute fine next nothing. Is there a fuse that could have blown?

The system could be low on freon, causing the low pressure switch to open and shut off the compressor to avoid damage to the system.
