SOURCE: i just need to know

did this recently on a 2004 Tahoe. Yours is probably the same. Set the brake and put the shifter in low. Tilt the steering wheel all the way down, if it tilts. Grab the instrument panel bezel with your fingers/fingernails and pull straight out. There are spring loaded clips all around from the left end of the dash to just past the radio. Once it is free from all clips, tilt the top down toward the steering wheel to slip it out. Then you will see 3 screws holding the radio in. There are 2 connectors on the back, plus the antenna wire to pull out. Let me know if yours is different or if you have any questions.

well i guess it all depends on if it fits? u can put most any radio and speakers into a car and it fits and all the wires match up, but u also have to have the right connection, and if ur not sure how to put it in i would suggjest just going to a automobile shop or car dealer near you. You can buy an installation kit that has a connector that plugs into the factory radio connector and the radio. Makes it really simple to install. No wire cutting and splicing. Auto parts stores sell them as well as Walmart.

Have a cd stuck in radio and cant get it out

i suggest you uninstall the CD player and take it apart to retrieve the CD. If it is a factory installed radio w/ CD player, I would take it to the dealership to get your CD out.

Can I add a jack to play an ipod to my factory 6 cd stereo?

I believe so, there are some audio jacks that are converters from a power source, such as, a lighter jack.

Radio gets no power

If this is an aftermarket radio, it may have an in-line fuse in the wiring of the set. If you know how to remove the radio from the dash, carefully pull it forward and watch behind it for the inevitable cable mess. The in-line fuse holder will be ~ 2-21/2" long and ~ 1/2" in diameter and will split in the middle of its length by twisting the two halves.   It may also be accessible under the dashboard without removing the radio itself but look for the type of fuse holder described above.

2004 Chevrolet Tahoe cd player says changer full and won't work

Bad news. Your CD player isn't any good. I work for Chevrolet and this is a very common problem. The magazine inside the radio (the part that holds the cd's) starts going crooked. I think some real tiny springs that hold it break, causing this problem. Only fix is to replace the radio. First try this. Go to the fuse box under the hood and remove the 'Radio' fuse for 1 minute. This may reset the radio. You may be able to eject any cd's stuck in the radio. May be cheaper to put in an after-market radio. Sorry.
