SOURCE: shows trouble code PO125

I would have the OBD II scanner clear the codes. Then if the code still pops up, I would have the coolant temperature sensor looked at.

SOURCE: 93 bmw car is running HOT, what s going on?

Bleed the cooling system.Let the car cool down. park on hill front up.Remove radiator cap.Take out bleeder screw(black plastic) To remove use straight screwdriver.Have coolant ready to pour. Turn fan and heater all the way.Start car.Pour coolant into overflow tank next to radiator. Do slowly while looking at coolant coming out of bleeder valve.Massage hoses while pouring coolant.Do this until bubbles are gone.put bleeder screw &radiator cap on. Drive a few miles. repeat 3-4 times. Before you do this procedure you may want to check hoses for leaks.Check thermostat and replace.

Check engine code P0125

PO125---- Insufficient Coolant Temperature for Closed Loop Fuel Control

No idea what car or engine you have

If you have a coolant temp sensor it could be bad

The thermostat also cool be stuck open

Both could be bad

Without the correct coolant temp (thermostat) or temp
sensor working, then your running the fuel injector timing
off Computer Controlled Open Loop-- meaning the oxygen
sensors are not in use as in closed loop & your wasting
gas ,as you have only a preset control over fuel trim eg:
no adjustment as you drive

I would install new spark plugs if over 3 years old -nothing
else,tune-ups are long gone 30 years ago, only the plugs left,
don't go done that road of being pitched something you don't need

I would new install front oxygen sensors, not the rear ones,
if over 100,000 miles
New thermostat & coolant temp sensor (CTS) if that
is what you have or other correction for that situtation.

P0125 Insufficient Coolant Temperature for Closed Loop Fuel Control
Replace your coolant temp sensor.Be sure to double check your coolant level and does the engine reach an operating temp(about halfway on the guage)in a normal time?! If it does, the temp sensor for the computer needs to be replaced.

Check engine went on, code came out as po125

Insufficient coolant temperature. Probably a bad thermostat, unless you are experiencing near zero temperatures in your town. If that's the case, chances are the light will go out when the weather warms up.
