Well to get the key out all you need to do is takeWD-40 and put the small hose on it as far as you can down the ignition the spay it and wiggle the key UP AN DOWN then take a sewing needle and wiggle it around in the ignition som anything holdin the key in there will come loose. TRUST ME I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY 2006 SILVERADO

I have a 2007 Pontiac Torrent. When I tried to start the car nothing happened. (Key stuck). I remembered that the day befor my rear wipper stopped working in half cycle. I found that my voltage was very low on my battery. I checked my rear wipper motor and it was hot., but not moving. THIS KILLED MY BATTERY. Wipper moter was stuck in half cycle. I unplugged the wipper motor (problem fixed). Need replacement wipper motor.

If your battery is dead, the key cannot be removed. Jump your battery and you should be able to remove your key. I learned this from experience.

2002 sunfire key stuck in the ignition (run) position, won't turn off, no gages working, and will not shift out of park. now the service and theft system lights are on

Sounds as if the ignition cylinder is bad. You will have to replace it if the key is stuck. It is a lot easier to replace with the key in the on position as that will be required to remove the cylinder. If you get the key out and then the cylinder will not turn, replacement of the cylinder will be more complicated

How do I reset the computer on a 2007 Pontiac Torrent after an oil change? Without going to the dealer..thanks

Turn the key to the run position, Within 5 seconds press and release the gas pedal three times. The change engine oil light will flash while the system is resetting. Turn off the ignition. If the light or message comes back on and stays on when the vehicle is started, the engine oil life system has not reset. Repeat the procedure.
