Question about 2002 Dodge Intrepid

Blown out plug

I have a 2002 chrysler intrepid with a 2.7l motor and it blew out one of its plugs out of the head but the coil contained it and I was wondering if there was any way that it could be fixed without having to take the head off?
If so how and with what?
Thank you.

It can most likely be fixed but you may have to remove the head to do it, call a machine shop or a dealer and ask for a repair person's na,me and # that does Heli-coils spark plug holes on the car, he will know if it can be fixed on the car or the head must come off.

Drain plug for rad

On the passenger side of radiator, and on the engine side. For a similar Chrysler, I used a 19 mm socket with a u-joint extension to turn the plug open-difficult to reach on that Chrysler.

My 2002 Ford Explorer wont crank!

I'm assuming the coilpack got wet!! Check if there is any power to the coil before changing. If thats fine, replace the coil. If there is no power, check your electrical circuit for the coil. Hopefully this helps

Does your engine turn over? When you say your upper hose blew off To me it meant your engine ran hot.You put the hose back on and filled the truck with water. So you drove it to the shop?Did you have to tow the truck after this happened?I don' know what to say! It seems like you have a blown head gasket,or you blew your engine,I need more info to help you.

Missing on two cylinders

Sometimes your plug wire go out. Try swapping 1 plug wire to another. In other words, the one the firing, put that plug wire on the one that is fireing. You might have to buy a set of wires.

Spark plug change in a 1998 dodge intrepid

if you don t see any spark plug wires then your motor has coil packs(black colored boxwith 2 small electrical wires) located on top of motor 3 on one side,3 on the other.disconnect negative terminal on battery, then disconnect wire connector at each coil pack and remove 2 screws that hold down coil pack, pull gently straight up and plug is right there below coil pack
