Question about 1995 Toyota Corolla
Well the reserve thank usually holds excess water. basically when water gets hot it expands and increases in size, the expansion causes some of it to go into the reserve and it can be very hot even boiling..
did this happen before or is it strange ?

Replace the over flow cap, with age they begin to leak and must be replaced they are relatively inexpensive just don't remove when the engine is hot. To remove push down on the cap and turn counter clockwise.
