Question about 2000 Nissan Maxima
Just expensive on gas ,no other problem ,no eng light ,run great
Yeah these cars are gas guzzlers.. there inst much you can do for this except maybe some friendly hacks. and these hacks aren't approved eighter. and I'm sure most of them don't even work. because of this I am UN-sure if the terms and conditions here prevent me from telling you these as i could risk getting banned. however i will point you in the right direction for RESEARCH of it.
some things people do is lower the Idle speed. basically it uses less gas but you sacrifice speed and stability. rough idling etc.
some people modify the catalytic convertor or increase the air intake.
and some purchase MIRACLE cure devices from the internet. I came across one that actually worked as it was supposed to but not how the developer claimed. basically what it does is increase the amount of air and convert it into hydrogen into the fuel mixture so it takes less gas but gives the same boom. This is that one. http://www.hydrofuel2go.com/
PS.. Fixya can make no claims or take any liability for this nor can I, these products and methods are not approved and only suggested for research purposes only..
Hope that helps you..
