Question about 1995 Ford F350

1 Answer

F350 don't start

I have a F350 Crew Cab 95' 7.3L Power Stroke, I changed the Power Module 3 months ago. Last week I would started as usual and it does but after 30 seconds shut down, and the check engine ligth turn on. I already check the water separator was clean, check the fuel lines, fuel pump, charge pump, and everything looks good and run.
Checked all relays and fuses.
The engine cranks but doesn't run.. I tried with start fluid and it does run.
Can you help me to solve this problem, and maybe help me to get an electric diagram of the truck...

Check to see if you are sucking air on the inlet side of charge pump, Disconect feed side of charge pump, fabricate a hose to place in a clear container to check for good clear flow.Hope this helps.

Injectors problem

Injector maybe but i'd check the glow plugs if they are not working in some cylinders it could act the same way, only allowing a couple cylinders to preheat the fuel mixture for easier ignition, if it runs fine after it warms up the injectors are probably ok

The motor runs but you have to spray starting fluid in it 1994 Ford F-350 Crew cab Power stroke

I had the same problem, tried everything,I thought, till starter went out.Put new starter in,now fires right up.It takes 200amps to start and found out on web u can't stay on ignition more than 6 seconds or will burn up starter.I had orginal starter on my 94 so it was time, also change air filter, fuel filter regularly.
