Disconnect the battery form the car. Remove the airbag fuse under the bonnet. Do the bumper replacement then re-install the fuse before putting the battery back in.

There are two bolts on the side of the fuse itself. Under the fuse box on each side. Unbolt those and it will come out.

SOURCE: How much should I reasonably

replacement of timing belt $350-$500. aftermarket shops will try to sell you a package containg a belt, water pump, and tensioner pulley. the dealer will just replace the belt, they might recommend to replace the water pump if there are alot of miles on the car, they will also inspect the pulley for wear.

SOURCE: obd2 code p0300 on mazda protege 2002

Just had one of these with a maxima, the code is multiple random misfire, when a misfire occurs, to start is do the basics, replace the plugs, check fuel pressure, clean throttle body, and coolant is topped up. also I have seen if the O2 sensor is not working correctly is can cause a misfire, you will need a scan tool to look at what the O2 sensor is doing, o rby back probing the sensor (don't damage the O2 sensor wires). If it wires replace them as well, if it has coils they usually dont give that code if one fails, it will pinpoint that a certain coil if one fals.

The light is telling you there is a problem with a sensor or other component. You need to have the body computer scanned for trouble codes to proceed.

I totalled my 1999 chevy s-10 and the airbag in the steering wheel didnt go off and i was wondering how to look and see if it was disabled

Do you want to know if the airbag was disabled or if the sensors were disabled? But basically, if the impact was from the side or rear, the airbag won't deploy. If the impact was from the front and went over the front bumper, again, the airbag wouldn't deploy.

Bought wrecked beetle 2000, came with new air bags and module

What sensor are you talking about there are 2 upfront on the front rails yes underneath the bumper Is the air bag light on if not you shouldnt need air bag sensors first off you could not see the air bags dangling I got to tell you something fishy here The only way to get the bumper off is to take the fenders and bumper off together because that is the only way to take it off. What my question to you is are the air bag lights on? Please rate my reponse Thank you very much And lets talk about this

That is the only sensor to trigger the bags. The new module needs to be programmed to the car by the dealer or someone with a scan tool capable of that.
