SOURCE: car won't start
The clicking you are hearing is the starter solenoid. This is a relay that applies 12 volts to the starter motor when you turn the key.
I agree with the parts man, it is probably your starter. Put your car on jack stands, (don't trust the jack itself to support the car with you under it) Disconnect your ground lead on your battery. When you get under the car there will be 2 (sometimes 3) wires attached to the starter. One is a large size wire coming from the starter. It will usually be red. There will be a smaller wire connected to a separate terminal on the startere. disconnect both wires. There will be 2 bolts holding the starter to the engine. Usually 1/2 inch or 9/16 size.. Remove the bottom bolt first. remove the top bolt and as it is about to come out you will have to hold the startere with one hand whilr you remove the 2nd bolt.. THAT'S IT
Take it to the parts store and they can check it for you. BTW, a new solenoid should come already mounter to the new starter.
Hope this helps. Good Luck Loringh

built into the pcm.....replace the key lock cylinder....get a new key with the same code as your old one and cut it to the gold key you get with the key lock cylinder

The remote start won't keep the car from starting.
If you have a check engine light on currently, that will not allow the remote start to function at all.

Actually you use the horn relay a lot! At least 3 times every time you get lock/unlock your car (6 toots, 2 toots for lock and 1 for unlock right?) ... You just said: "as i clicked my car to lock. It got weaker and weaker until it stopped working" Buy a different brand relay (preferably one not made in China, pay more) and don't expect they WILL last a long time the horns take a lot of power and they have a very dirty feedback to the relay un-like lights. You can dis-able the toots by reading your owners manual.
