See if dealer can still get you a repair manual for it, i purchased both for my 01 xcsp and they really provide some good info. Still it sounds like an ignition/elecrtrical issue.Check all wiring for loose connections, rubing/chaffing thru to ground or each other. Possable ignition coil break down? Polaris use to offer TSB's and recalls on there web site. Hope this helps!

Front speakers keep cutting out

If they cut out when they are turned up they are busted, get new ones. If they are cutting out when you hit a bump or something, then you have a loose wire somewhere between the player and the speaker, maybe check the doors and see if one might be crimped.

Clunking noise front passenger when i hit a bump

It's unlikely to be a ball joint on an '05. Make sure the mechanic jacks the car up under the lower control arm then checks radial and axiel (up and down). The sway bar links are bad about making noise.
